This whole "Good Vibes Only" crap can really get on your nerves, right?
There are days when you don’t want to read motivational quotes. Days you just want to sit by the window with a cup of coffee, watch the rain, and pull the blanket over your head.
A full-blown shitty day.
It was in a moment just like that when the idea for the "make it worse" club was born.
Not because I want your life to get worse.
But because I truly believe we need to stop trying to immediately plaster over every crack in the facade.
Sometimes, you just have to embrace melancholy, sadness, anger, grumpiness, or rage. Let's just make this a whole mood and stay for a while until growing and getting better again.
My little Snail Mail Club is exactly that: permission to not be in a perfectly good mood. A monthly dose of "spicy sadness." An envelope that doesn't tell you you're a tiger, but maybe more of a grumpy raccoon—and that this is absolutely lovable.
So, what's actually inside one of these envelopes, you ask?
Once a month, I sit down and pack a real envelope for you. And it's always filled with a solid dose of love:

An A6 art print, created exclusively for that month. Something you can pin to your wall when the wallpaper is just a little too cheerful.

Two stickers to decorate (or "worsen") your laptop, your journal, or the notepad of your perhaps overly cheerful colleague.

A letter from me, of course. A few honest lines.

A small, themed surprise. Something small that for example completes the story of the letter.

And because ink is my second language, I always include a €5 tattoo voucher. No pressure, no stress. But if you ever feel the urge to get a piece of art permanently under your skin, you can just collect them. Like a little piggy bank for your next bad life choice.
Everything about this is slow and intentionally imperfect. The envelopes will flutter into your mailbox at some random point during the month, without any announcement or tracking number. Because it's supposed to surprise you. And if the postal service takes its sweet time and a letter gets lost? Just write to me. I won't leave you hanging.
The most important thing you need to know: this is 100% me. No algorithm spitting out designs. Just my head, my heart, and my hands, creating something because it brings me a lot of joy and I hope you too!
